The Boeing family is dedicated to supporting the young upcoming bright minds of the future. Investing resources and funding education to the next generation is part of how Boeing contributes to the community. The Boeing family recognizes the importance of contributing to the community as it provides students with the necessary materials to pursue higher education and allows them to have the resources they need to be engaged in their education. Boeing has provided the local schools in the Chicago area a $1.5 million grant that will provide students and teachers with computers and other technological resources to support them in remote learning. Boeing's contribution to the Chicago Public Schools supports the expansion of technology access to about 4,500 students. The grant has also allowed students to receive free or reduced-cost lunches.
